When my little sister asked me to make her a stitched quote from Forgetting Sarah Marshall I pretty much said “…..[blank stare]…..” Luckily Paul Rudd came to the rescue with this nearly tossed off line, which seemed perfect and almost seasonal. Perfect Christmas gift!

Poseidon (framed) Last year on a beach vacation I got my boyfriend hooked on Greek mythology thanks to the History Channel’s “Clash of the Gods,” and that led to him becoming a huge fan of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians books.  Long story short, Poseidon became his favorite.  His birthday was today (June 17th) and I wanted to stitch him something cool.  I found this photo, then ran it through myphotostitch.com to create the pattern.  43 hrs later (over the span of two weeks) of watching canceled television on Hulu, I finished and framed it.   I gave it to him tonight.  He loves it.  :) See more in-progress photos here.
